Every CAS project is executed to the applicable international code. This page explains which standards we work to, what that means in practice, and how our quality management approach protects our clients.
Every project begins with a CAS-issued ITP aligned to the applicable standard. Hold points and witness points are defined before work commences. No phase proceeds until the preceding inspection is formally signed off.
All non-conformances are raised on NCRs, tracked through to closure with objective evidence. CAS does not close an NCR without documented corrective action and verification. NCR logs are included in the project Data Book.
All site welding is performed under CAS-issued WPS and PQR, qualified to ASME Section IX. Welder qualification records are maintained and updated. Inter-pass inspection and visual examination are performed on all structural welds.
CAS compiles a complete project Data Book at mechanical completion — dimensional inspection reports, NDE records, hydrostatic test records, coating DFT readings, NCR close-out records and the Mechanical Completion Certificate. Every project has a permanent quality record.
Where a TPIA or TPI is appointed by the client, CAS coordinates hold point and witness point activities — providing minimum 48 hours' written notice. TPI coordination is built into our programme at no additional cost provided it does not disrupt the critical path.
CAS works to these standards on every applicable project. Where formal third-party certification is held by a partner, we will identify that clearly. We do not overstate credentials — our technical track record speaks for itself.
